Welcome to Natural Communities!!
To best serve our customers and to provide you with the largest selection possible we have shifted our focus to larger and wholesale orders. We unfortunately no longer have a retail location or store hours.
We Iove to talk ecological restoration. If you have questions, we will spend the time necessary with you to answer them. Email, call, or set up a consultation visit. We are here to make your project a success. We can set up wholesale meetings by appointment only, on Saturday and Sundays from 8am to 9am at our Algonquin, IL office or 3:30pm to 5:00pm at our Lisle office. We have wholesale only pick up at our nursery yards in St. Charles, IL or Leland, IL for native perennials and our shrub and tree yard is in Marengo, IL. We can also ship seed and plants to most of the Eastern United States. Click here to see our service area and order information.

help of my school, my students, many community partners, and Natural
Communities, we are in the process of restoring an area on a high school campus
to a natural prairie/pond area. Nick has come out to do site visits, he has

able to get us what we want wholesale. Our site is not an easy project because

I am extremely pleased with the one hour consultation I had
with Nick Fuller regarding our wetland creek. We have invasive plants and
grasses that have taken over our creek bed and we needed guidance on how to
both effectively remove the invasives and restore the area with native
plants suitable for the creek. Nick asked pertinent questions that allowed Nick
to identify plants and shrubs suitable for the area with a timeline for
planting. Nick also provided a detailed outline of the steps needed to remove the
