Blue Vervain provides excellent height in the back of the border, reaching around five feet high. Slender spikes of lavender blue flowers begin blooming in June and continue through the summer. This vervain thrives in prairies and savannas in wet to mesic soil, making it a good candidate for rain gardens. Beloved by pollinators.
