Quercus bicolor (Swamp White Oak)

An excellent native tree common across most of the eastern US, possibly the best "street tree" of the Oaks as it has a good growth rate.  It supports a vast array of wildlife from many insects with its leaves and many mammals with acorns. This tree has variable fall color ranges from uninteresting browns to quality shades of dark red.
