Sweet Joe-Pye Weed is a large woodland plant reaching around four to seven feet high with beautiful cotton candy pink-purple flowers. It brings in the butterflies and is a statement plant for the garden, but with its height, it can be a bit aggressive in smaller gardens. Plus it is a favorite nectar source for the endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee (Bombus affinis)
