Now dormant
This is a quintessential woodland garden plant!!! Umbrella-like leaves emerge in early April and a white flower follows. I have seen this species grow in full sun, but part sun to dappled light is preferred. This plant spreads through its roots and can form majestic colonies of this beautiful plant. It always reminds me of a plant that should be growing in a gnomb village :) An ephemeral; goes dormant in summer, earlier with more sun.
