Geum triflorum (Prairie Smoke)


This is a short native plant. Its showy seed heads are interesting, to say the least.  In mass groupings, these seed heads can resemble an ethereal pink smoke hugging the ground. This can be an excellent landscape plant that will surely be a conversation starter. It can be used as a ground cover if planted densely or spread by division.
